A seasoned professional and passionate community leader, Rahul's journey with the Y's Men Club began as a charter member of the Y's Men Club of Adoor Royal City. His dedication was evident through his service as Club Secretary and an impressive five terms as president. Under his exceptional leadership, the Adoor Royal City club flourished, earning recognition as an outstanding club within the CTR region and across Kerala. With his proven track record of leadership, commitment to community, and diverse expertise, Rahul S. Kumar is poised to lead District 1 with innovation and dedication.
Rahul has a long-standing reputation for artistic talent, which has been evident since his school days. This creative flair beautifully complements his strong academic background, which includes two Bachelor's degrees and a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA). Beyond his corporate and social leadership roles, Rahul is also a leading ad film director and writer, applying his artistic vision to creative media projects.
Rahul's diverse professional career spans various corporate and entrepreneurial sectors. He has previously served as an Area Manager for HDFC Bank and as an Indian consultant for CGL Shipping Company. Currently, he is the owner of Adithya Movie Creation (a Malayalam movie production and distribution company), the Managing Director of R Studio Nexus Pvt Ltd in Cochin, the Managing Director of Thompil Chits Pvt Ltd in Thatta, Adoor, and the Chairman of Federal College Kottiyam.
Rahul S. Kumar is the grandson of Thompil Raghava Kurup and the elder son of Thompil Sreekumar and Thulasi S. Kumar. His brother, Dr. Kapil S. Kumar, is a medical professional. Rahul is happily married to Adv. Lakshmi Raj, and the couple has two sons: Advaith Rahul, who recently completed his Higher Secondary (Plus Two) education, and Adithya Dev Rahul, who is currently studying in the 8th standard.
